So, I made it to the hospital last night and got my second steroid shot. This one didn’t hurt like the first one did. The first one was absolutely horrible and burned like a hot poker straight to the left ass cheek! I had her do this one in the right cheek and up a little higher and it didn’t hurt at all–just a little poke and it was done!
I took my first iron pill after I got home. Those things stink so bad. Gross.
Then, today I spent nearly all day in bed with a stomach ache wishing that I could throw up because I was in so much pain! I don’t know if it was the steroids or the iron, or maybe just an off day, but it sucked. I ended up sleeping nearly the entire day away. So, now, I’ll be up all night wide awake.
Charlotte gave me a scare today after I ate I couldn’t get her to move. Of course, I only ate a cookie, but still. So, I was laying in bed freaking out trying to shake her awake (shaken baby syndrome before birth? LOL) and as soon as Paul walked in from work he got her to give a few little movements. Then, Paul cooked me some dinner and she went crazy after I ate. Thank goodness.
The fear during this pregnancy just never goes away. I think I’ll be scared until I’m holding her in my arms, screaming and wailing! Then, of course, will start a whole new stage of fear….just the fear of a mom and I don’t think that ever goes away! I still am always afraid something will happen to Haley every single day!
